Word of the Day: Causerie

Causerie is a noun. The first ‘e’ is silent. Otherwise, it sounds just like it looks. It is any short informal conversation or essay. It comes from the French word meaning ‘to chat.’

I won’t bore you with the other details. Maybe we’ll have a causerie about it later.
