Hi, David. My best advice is to jump in and get your feet wet. The worst thing that can happen is you end up doing something else. The Web always needs bloggers, article writers, copy writers, editors and more. You’re sure to find something that works for you.

Hello, I just finished reading the above article and all of the responses. I was absolutely blown away by the information.

I am a recently laid-off English teacher and have been secretly pining away at a new career. The only problem is that I am quite nervous about the whole endeavor and don’t know if I’m really qualified to be a copywriter.

I have written a novel (unpublished as of today’s date), but I don’t have any “samples” to submit to find out whether or not I have any talent.

Also, I have written down: eCopywriter.com, Textbroker.com, Zemandi.com, and Helium Marketplace.com sites for copywriters. Are there any others you know of?

Hi Edward. I haven’t tried them, but I will do that today to give you an idea how it is. Textbroker is actually based in Arizona BTW.

Has anybody tried independent publishing? They are similar to Textbroker (both are based in Germany, I think :s), i was just wondering if anyone had any stories about them? don’t know if i should sign up or not

Yes, unfortunately. The site loads up and those articles get snatched up fast. My advice is to log on every morning to check. Try textbroker for a site that always has at least some work for you, even if the pay isn’t quite stellar.

I was accepted with Ecopywriters a week ago at Level 2. Every time I check the site, there are no articles to choose. Is this normal?

Now, in this sentence above are you talking about Textbroker that raked in 96$ or are you talking about Ecopywriters ? Which one.

Zemandi is a new name to me. I’ll have to check it out. However, I always preferred textbroker for regular assignments for reasonable pay.

I don’t care what the subject is I’ll write the article. I just sent another email to eCopywriter support. I hope they respond this time.

I was promoted from a 3 to a 4 on Zemandi.com but the pay wasn’t any better. It was still only 1/2 cent per word, but, the assignments were harder. It doesn’t matter with Zemandi.com if you have a 500 word article or an 8,000 word article you still have 8 hours to complete it. Support, however, is remarkable and they are willing to work with their writers in anyway possible to get the assignment completed. I haven’t written for them for awhile because I can make more money on Textbroker.
