That really stinks. It is common with many job boards, but not my beloved Guru. At Textbroker they do the same thing, but do make exceptions for clients when asked. I'll add one more unrelated complaint. You'll sometimes see Craiglist ads for writers that ask you to sign up for Elance to work with the client. These guys aren't hiring anyone, they are Elance affiliates looking to cash in on your ignorance. Watch out for those.... Preaching to the choir there, Drew. That really stinks.
